Certification Details BLS - Basic Life Support State License 1 Verification ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (required for: RNs: ICU, SICU, MICU, Endoscopy/GI, CCU, CVICU, Neuro ICU, PACU, Cath Lab, ER) PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (required for PICU, Peds, ER) NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure (required for Nursery, NICU, and L&D) TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course (required for ER, MSTICU) EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring (AWHONN Intermediate required for L&D) HIPAA Safety Manual Acknowledgement (required within 12 months of start) Tech Cert Verification - National (for various technical positions) NIH Stroke Certification (required for: Acute Rehab, ER, ICU (all units), IR, Neuro Intermediate Units, Oncology, PACU, PCU, Step Down, Telemetry) Job Details Locals Accepted 1 to 2 years’ experience required. Job Requirements Weekend requirement: 8 weekend shifts in Saint Luke’s 6-week schedule period, combination of F/S/S. Holiday shifts and Charge RN assignments as needed per unit. Floating requirement: regular floating may be required between departments, units and facilities as needed. Additional Details Current and valid drivers license or government photo ID required. Physical Exam signed by a physician or Advanced Practice Provider within 12 months of start is required. Fit Test required for any N95 model acceptable and can be completed onsite.
