Job Description: SR IT PROJECT MANAGER | $65-$75/HR | 6 MONTH CONTRACT WITH POTENTIAL FOR HIRE Our client is a respected non-profit organization dedicated to improving the health and well-being of their communities. As part of a significant digital transformation effort, they are implementing a new CRM system to enhance member experiences and streamline operations. Pay: $65-$75/hr Start Date: ASAP 6 month contract (with potential to hire) Location: Remote with 10-15% travel to Twin Cities Position Details: We are seeking a seasoned Senior IT Project Manager that will work with the overall project manager to assist in leading the end-to-end implementation of a CRM solution across the organization. This role will specifically involve the development, design, testing and implementation of project contingency plans for the client's go-live timeframe in February, 2025. The Senior PM will be coordinating with stakeholders at all levels, and ensuring that deliverables meet business objectives. The ideal candidate has extensive experience managing organization-wide IT projects, strong leadership skills, and a proven ability to deliver projects on time and within scope. A PMP certification is preferred. Responsibilities: Lead and manage the full lifecycle of contingency planning of the CRM implementation project, from planning to deployment, testing, creation of stories and workstreams. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and alignment with the master project plan. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, marketing, and leadership, to ensure project alignment with organizational goals. Identify and mitigate risks, resolve project issues, and ensure smooth communication between stakeholders. Develop and implement comprehensive contingency plans to address potential risks, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines and organizational operations. Manage vendor relationships to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services. Provide regular updates to senior leadership on project status, milestones, and any roadblocks. Ensure all project deliverables are met on time, within scope, and within budget. Conduct post-implementation reviews to identify lessons learned and document best practices. Qualifications: 5 years of experience in IT project management, with a strong focus on organization-wide implementations. Proven experience managing CRM or similar enterprise-wide system implementations. PMP certification strongly preferred. Expertise in risk management and contingency planning to preemptively address challenges and minimize project disruptions. Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate across all levels of the organization. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience working with non-profits organizations is a plus but not required.
