For this creation of role we are looking for a Senior Engineer in charge of redefining the testing approach and develop new frameworks and tools using new technologies. Description As Apple Pay Software Developer in Test Engineers, we work closely with developers, external partners, and other quality engineers to guarantee high quality products, as well as ensure existing features meet our customer’s expectations in each software release. To be successful in this role you should be a seasoned developer with strong track records of owning the development of new automated test platforms. As a UI Automation and platform engineer you will develop the solutions that will enable our Client Quality teams to expand our testing coverage applying new AI/ML technology. These include design of automation and UI testing frameworks and methodologies for evaluating the overall quality of our products. You are always looking for new and innovative QA solutions, you often work cross teams and organization to find or advocate for scalable testing solutions. You can propose new testing approaches using LLMs and other emerging technologies. You are able to : - Architect and develop scalable client testing platforms using Apple's AI/ML services and applications. - Lead the design and implementation of distributed systems that are resilient, secure, and optimized for high performance. - Collaborate with AI/ML teams and other infrastructure engineers to ensure flawless integration of platform solutions. - Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the team's overall growth and technical perfection. Minimum Qualifications 10 years of experience in automated test development Proficient in one of the following languages: Python or Swift Knowledge of AI/ML principles Passion to building scalable software solutions for testing BS or MS in Computer Science, related technical field or equivalent experience Key Qualifications Preferred Qualifications Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams Education & Experience Additional Requirements Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $312,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
