Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and manage maintenance operations at our distribution center. This role requires a strong understanding of both electrical and mechanical systems, with a focus on troubleshooting and maintaining automated systems, including PLCs. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a distribution center environment or a similar industrial setting, along with a proven track record of maintaining operational efficiency and ensuring equipment reliability. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate the daily maintenance activities for the assigned shift. Lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support as needed. Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues with equipment, machinery, and automated systems (including PLCs). Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on distribution center equipment, including conveyors, sorters, automated material handling systems, and other machinery. Collaborate with operations teams to minimize downtime and maximize equipment performance. Ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies in all maintenance activities. Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and parts, ensuring timely availability of critical components. Document all maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and improvements, in the company’s maintenance management system. Work with management to identify areas for continuous improvement and implement corrective actions as needed. Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree or technical certification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Maintenance is preferred. Experience: At least 3-5 years of maintenance experience in a distribution center, manufacturing, or industrial environment. Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems. Experience with PLC programming, troubleshooting, and repair. Familiarity with automated systems used in distribution centers (e.g., conveyors, sorters, robotic systems). Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
