Estate Planning Paralegal Location: Brentwood, Los Angeles, CA Salary Range: $75,000 - $110,000 per year annually, along with Paid Time Off, Paid Sick Time and Holidays, Healthcare, Dental and Vision Coverage, 401k Position: Full-time, Onsite, Direct Hire LHH is working with a reputable firm in seeking an experienced Estate Planning Paralegal to join their team in Brentwood, Los Angeles, CA. This is an onsite role, responsible for supporting attorneys in estate planning, probate administration, and related matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estate administration and be comfortable handling a range of paralegal tasks with accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities: Review and summarize intake and estate planning documents. Prepare initial drafts of pleadings, petitions, and probate documents. Prepare and serve notice documents to interested parties and government agencies. Analyze financial statements and prepare inventory and estate accountings. Prepare real property transfer documents and related county forms. Communicate and correspond with clients, opposing counsel, and formal agencies. Utilize court online services to investigate case dockets, probate notes, and local rules. File documents with the court, including e-filing and ex parte procedures. Prepare case files for hearings and assist in coordinating hearing dates. Assist with administrative tasks as needed within the office. Qualifications: Paralegal Certificate and 2 years of probate paralegal experience. Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize tasks and multitask efficiently. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proofreading for spelling and grammar. Strong proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). Experience preparing Judicial Council forms using case management software (e.g., Smokeball). Familiarity with analyzing financial statements and preparing estate accountings. Quick learner with the ability to ask for guidance when needed. Willingness to learn and adapt to changing court rules and procedures.
