High Volume Full Service Sous Chef Growing Restaurant Group Salary - $70,000 - $80,000 Bonus Location: San Antonio, TX We are seeking an experienced and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As the Sous Chef, you will play a vital role in maintaining our high standards, supporting the Head Chef, and leading the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations. This position offers an opportunity to showcase your culinary skills and contribute to a dynamic, guest-focused environment. Required: A.S. degree or equivalent experience. 5 years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience, depending on formal degree or training. Extensive catering experience is a plus. Highly desirable to have experience in high-volume, complex foodservice operations. Institutional and batch cooking experiences. Hands-on chef experience is a must. Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation. Proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point), Outlook, E-mail, and the Internet. Willingness to participate in client satisfaction programs/activities. ServSafe certification is highly desirable.
