Position Overview: The Manufacturing Production Operator will play a key role in supporting the manufacturing of medical devices, specifically the Personal Diabetes Manager (PDM). You will ensure the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency in production processes while contributing to continuous improvement efforts. This role may involve cross-training in different areas of production. Key Responsibilities: Safely execute production processes to assemble mobile devices into finished PDM units, following approved procedures. Operate test fixtures and conduct tests (e.g., touchscreens, USB connections, RF sealed chassis). Report any discrepancies in quality, safety, or processes, and collaborate with teams to resolve issues. Follow all written and verbal instructions, and verify that procedures are up-to-date and compliant with regulations. Perform physical tasks such as unpacking, assembling, and moving components. Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stocking levels. Keep a clean work environment, ensuring compliance with medical device manufacturing standards. Participate in troubleshooting and corrective actions as needed. Maintain training on quality processes and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA 21CFR, ISO 13485). Support other areas of production, such as Receiving, Shipping, and Quality functions, as required. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED. Minimum 2 years of experience in a production environment, preferably in medical devices or electronics testing. Basic knowledge of mobile devices and touchscreen technology. Experience with ERP software (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics AX) is a plus. Proficiency in MS Office applications. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision. Physical Requirements: Ability to reach above shoulder height frequently and below waist occasionally. Ability to lift up to 20 lbs occasionally, and 5-20 lbs frequently. Work Environment: This is an on-site position that requires working in a manufacturing environment.
