Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Pathology in Tennessee

A lab is seeking an Anatomic/Clinical Pathologist for locum tenens coverage. The facility is located in Tennessee. A GI hospitalist role involves managing a case load of 20-30 patients daily, covering a range of biopsies including uterus, breast, thyroid, GI, prostate, urinary bladder, colon, skin, cervical, and endometrial specimens. There is no on-site support staff, and procedures rarely require grossing, though frozen sections may be necessary, with daily fixation for uterus specimens. The work schedule runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with after-hours calls managed by an on-call pathologist, excluding clinical lab or blood bank duties.
