Summit Medical Staffing Nursing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Omaha, Nebraska. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: MRI Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 01/13/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Additional Information: Position Description: General Job Duties: Perform quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures under the supervision of a qualified radiologist, to ensure accurate and appropriate imaging information for use in diagnosis and treatment. Participate in teaching and research relating to MRI in support of the organizational mission. Demonstrate active involvement in the department.Ability to communicate effectively required. Ability to multi-task required. Ability to deal with difficult or challenging customer interactions and escalate to management as appropriate Equipment Utilized: Philips MRI Scanner, I GE Scanner Epic for EMR McKesson for imagining Required Skills and Minimum Years of Experience: Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology required. Proficient with computers/computer systems to include basic navigation and use of email applications required.
