Office Address: 20955 Pathfinder Rd, Diamond Bar, CA 91765 Job duties: Handle ocean and air import shipments. Complete and create arrival notices to upload into system. Prepare and distribute completed arrival notices in a timely manner. Track and trace shipments. Keep clients well informed of any changes. Respond to e-mails and phone calls, capable of handling A-Z, including ISF filing, customs clearance and delivery. Verify OBL and payment requirements prior to freight release. Monitor the import shipments from origin to final destination to ensure prompt delivery to avoid delays, storage, demurrage, and any unnecessary charges. Ensure affirmative action is taken when responding to US customs issues and other government agencies. Maintain documentations and records according to established company paperless protocol. Communicate with trucker and warehouse to make delivery appointment accordingly. Read, monitor and respond promptly to all incoming correspondence in order to properly manage daily operation issues. Process accounts receivable and payable, verify D/C note accuracy. Optimize an ongoing internal systems and procedures to exceed clients’ expectation and enhance team efficiency. Constantly improve the business operations and communication between oversea and U.S. offices to increase company’s productivity. Other tasks and duties assigned from time to time by the supervisor. Job requirements: Bilingual Mandarin is highly preferred for efficient communication with oversea office. Associate degree or above. Certification or diploma in a related field of studies is preferred. Minimum two years of experience in a similar role with an international freight forwarding organization. Experience in ocean transport and knowledge of terminal procedure is required. Experience in air freight and knowledge of airline recovery procedure is required. Experience in LCL and knowledge of CFS procedure is required. Experience in transloading and knowledge of FTL and LTL service is required. Great communication skills and customer service oriented. Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and good computer skills at user level and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
