BLS - must be certified through American Heart Association ONLY ACLS - must be certified through American Heart Association ONLY Job Details We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to: Provide care for patients during GI and Bronchoscopy procedures including the administration of sedation. Be an integral part of a surgical team that performs multispecialty procedures. Assume the overall responsibility for management of the operating room to which you are assigned. Job Requirements Must be able to perform Moderate Sedation in procedure, and pre/post all levels of care including PACU/Phase I and Phase II recovery. Must have experience recent experience in recovering sedated GI and pulmonary procedures such as ERCP, EUS, EGD, Colonoscopy, endoscopy/Bronchoscopy (some patients have general anesthesia rather than moderate sedation) Traveler must have completed two years of experience within last 3 years. Traveler’s permanent address must be 50 miles from assigned primary work site location. Floating - Travelers are the first. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization. During the traveler’s assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract. Additional Details Traveler’s permanent address must be 50 miles from assigned primary work site location. Traveler will be required to pass Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start (not for clinic positions). Traveler must have Basic Arrhythmia experience.
