Sr. Accountant

Vaco Staffing is recruiting for a Senior Accountant for a client in Milwaukee, WI. This is a direct hire role with our client. Duties include: Codes invoices Prepares and posts general ledger journal entries Manages the month-end and year-end close Prepares, reviews, and distributes monthly operating and executive financial reports Reconciles and enters monthly financial information in the system Reviews monthly financial statements Investigates significant variances to budgeted and forecasted amounts Analyzes and reconciles various general ledger balance sheet accounts Assists in the preparation of Budgets and periodic Forecasts for assigned business units Assists the input and the reconciliation of Budget and Forecast information into the consolidation system ( Assists the Cost Team with the completion of the physical inventory at off-site facilities Other special projects or necessary duties as required Requirements: BA in Accounting or Finance required Knowledge of US GAAP Experience in ERP systems Three years’ experience CPA Certification or CPA Candidate Preferred Here’s what they offer: Health, Dental, Vision and Life insurance 401(k) 5% Match Paid sick time Paid time off
