The Construction & Manufacturing Team supports all of Haskell's delivery groups across the company and the projects throughout the United States. The Construction & Manufacturing Team is responsible for providing the field management personnel, from the craft worker to the Project Superintendent. The Construction & Manufacturing Team also provides the team member with logistical support; including but not limited to establishing per diem rates, company trucks for superintendents, and the coordination of arrival for team members as needed on the project. The Construction & Manufacturing Team provides continual training for our team members to support their development from entry-level craft workers, via in-house/online courses, to local jurisdiction apprenticeship programs. In this role, you will manage design/build, construction management or construct-only projects from project assignment through completion. Accountable for all construction activities on assigned project(s). Job Responsibilities: Assist Project Directors in responding to RFPs, including preparing estimates, schedules, and proposal documents; participate in client presentations. Monitor the progress of design documents and participate in design review meetings, providing input on constructability, scope, and cost changes. Prepare detailed estimates, cost code input, and cost control systems. Prepare bid packages, analyze bids, qualify subcontractors, and award subcontracts and major purchase orders. Establish job organization with construction personnel, plan, sequence, and schedule projects; manage the project schedule and conduct job site meetings. Ensure project cost control by updating labor cost reports, summary cost reports, and project status summaries. Coordinate permits, inspections, and final project approvals with governing authorities. Maintain submittal control and manage client relations, progress meetings, reports, change orders, and responses to inquiries. Maximize project cash flow through invoicing and collections; manage subcontractor and supplier performance, including payments and documentation. Review and monitor project progress, quality, and safety; mentor construction personnel and manage project close-out tasks and warranty work.
