Certification Details WI nursing license or compact license. BLS - must be certified through American Heart Association ONLY NIH Stroke Scale if the facility treats complex stroke cases. Job Details Registered Nurse specializing in neuro specialty inpatient unit. Responsibilities include working with medical and surgical neuro patients, post-surgical care, and patient and family centered care in a collaborative environment. The unit includes a Level IV Comprehensive Epilepsy Center. Job Requirements Two years of acute care experience within the last three years. Neurosurgery experience preferred. Traveler must have Basic Arrhythmia experience and pass UW Health Telemetry test. Schedule Information Shift: 3x12 Night 1900-0730. Unit Specific Information 25-bed neurosurgery general care unit. Unit includes care for a variety of neurological conditions and post-surgical cases. Additional Details Traveler must have permanent address outside 50 mile radius of Madison. Travelers are the first to float and may be scheduled in multiple units or locations.
