Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Obstetrics and Gynecology in Nebraska

Job Title: Physician Job Specialty: OB/GYN Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Varied Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum years of experience not specified License: Nebraska License or IMLC eligible Certifications: BLS, DEA, NRP, Board Certified Must-Have: Board Certification, OB/GYN Residency Job Description: - Provide OB-GYN coverage for a 1:2 practice in a busy clinic setting - Perform all standard gynecologic procedures in both clinic and hospital environments - Participate in clinic, after-hours calls, labor and delivery, and gynecologic surgery duties - Serve as backup for Certified Nurse Midwives (CNM) - Engage in city call responsibilities - Utilize EMR: EPIC for documentation and patient management - Work alongside support staff, including front desk and clinical professionals, with ultrasound available on-site - Ability to respond to emergency calls within 30 minutes - Clinic responsibilities include seeing 10-20 clinic patients per day and handling urgent patient needs - Participate in surgical procedures scheduled on Monday and Friday mornings - Provide coverage for approximately 10-15 call days per month and work approximately 20 contact hours in clinic weekly - All calls to be taken in-market to ensure availability for on-site responses if needed Additional Details: - Position due to a resignation and requires both clinic and call coverage - The opportunity to cover acute OB or GYN calls for the hospital within a 24-hour call period - Option to perform small amounts of clinic work if urgent needs arise
