A 350 bed short term acute care hospital that is part of a well renown Foundation of hospitals is seeking a hospitalist nurse practitioner for locum tenens coverage. Central Illinois is full of hidden gems Visit Beaver Dam State Park, Fox Ridge State Park, or stroll around small towns including Quincy or Arcola The position is for a day shift hospitalist focused on bread-and-butter cases, with no procedures required and no involvement in codes or rapid response teams. Responsibilities include rounding on patients and admitting new cases. The role utilizes the EPIC electronic medical record system and benefits from full subspecialty support.
