Summary of Primary Responsibilities: Responsible for performing and documenting preventative and corrective maintenance on a variety of process equipment, packaging equipment and utility systems within a cGMP manufacturing facility. Equipment includes but is not limited to; HVAC-R, steam boilers, cold rooms, compressed air and gas systems, Reverse Osmosis (RO) and Water for Injection (WFI) systems, wastewater treatment, clean steam generation, process/chilled water systems and Manufacturing and Packaging equipment support. Overlapping second shift from 12:00pm to 8:30pm with the ability to come in when needed to support the Facilities team on first shift as needed. Specific Responsibilities: Perform and document all corrective and preventative maintenance activities performed on GMP facility equipment and/or utility systems in accordance with GDP requirements on process, filling and packaging and support equipment Respond to emergency service calls and resolve identified issues in a timely manner and in accordance with all safety, quality and compliance requirements Assists in the installation/qualification of new equipment/facility upgrades Assists/ supervises outside contractors working on site Perform weekend walkthrough duties according to schedule Participate in an On-Call rotation for off hour facility emergencies Ensure that all required quality and safety training is completed on time and current Provide general maintenance and support to all departments as directed. Performs other job-related duties as assigned Job Complexity: Works on problems of a routine nature. Must be able to follow GMP requirements. Will perform basic trouble shooting of equipment. Experience, Knowledge, and Skills Required: Requires a minimum High School Diploma, with trade school training preferred Requires a minimum of 4 years experience in a maintenance environment, preferably in a cGMP facility General working knowledge of production/packaging equipment General working knowledge of HVAC systems. Ability to work autonomously, effectively manage time to achieve goals and objectives Ability to follow directions specifically Professional interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Basic Windows operating system skills Experience, Knowledge, and Skills Preferred: Experience with BMS (Building Management Systems) Experience with CMMS system for tracking maintenance work orders. 2I Industrial Wastewater Treatment license or the ability to obtain one within one year of employment. Ability to obtain a Commonwealth of MA Special Operators License for Steam Boilers within one year of employment. Broad trade knowledge including plumbing and general mechanical skills.
