Assistant Project Manager (APM) – 90,000 SF Office Project Overview : The Assistant Project Manager will support the Project Manager in the successful delivery of a 90,000-square-foot office building in Delray Beach. This position involves assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of all phases of the project while maintaining schedules, budgets, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities : Assist the Project Manager in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets. Prepare and manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders. Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of services and materials. Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure work aligns with project specifications and Florida building codes. Track project milestones and assist in updating stakeholders on progress. Collaborate with the permitting team to ensure compliance with Delray Beach regulations. Support safety management on-site and enforce compliance with safety standards. Organize and maintain project records and reports. Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred). 2-4 years of experience in commercial construction or similar projects. Familiarity with Florida permitting processes and building regulations. Proficiency in construction software such as Procore, MS Project, or Bluebeam. Strong organizational and communication skills. Basic understanding of structural and MEP systems in office building construction.
