Mainframe DB2 DBA

Job Description: Proven experience as a Mainframe DB2 DBA with hands-on experience in DB2 for z/OS. Strong understanding of DB2 architecture, utilities, and performance optimization. Proficiency in SQL and DB2 command language. Familiarity with DB2 tools for monitoring, tuning, and reporting. Experience with mainframe environment (z/OS, JCL, TSO/ISPF, etc.). Knowledge of backup and recovery methodologies, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies. Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving database performance or availability issues. Ability to write and maintain documentation related to DB2 systems and procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working in cross-functional teams.
