KP Aviation , an international supplier and procurer of aftermarket aviation components and assets, is searching for the next key member of our team As the Product Line Manager, your primary responsibility will be overseeing a team of Product Line Representatives, encompassing all aspects of asset evaluation, acquisition, and repair within KPA's material procurement endeavors. This involves constructing a financial model (Proforma) to determine purchase prices, anticipated revenue, and gross profit projections for projects. Additionally, you'll manage inventory turnover, establish target pricing, and provide accurate reports on current market conditions specific to the product line/platform. Moreover, you'll oversee the procurement of stocked materials to ensure alignment with our financial objectives. Demonstrating initiative in enhancing gross margins and streamlining workflow and processes is essential. You'll also fulfill any additional requests or duties delegated by management. Your role entails conducting thorough market analysis, offering technical support, and devising pricing strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets. Furthermore, you'll support the sales team in marketing the company's airframe materials and actively engage in assessing, valuing, and procuring aircraft, surplus packages, and demand materials. This necessitates collaborating closely with the Director of Product Lines, Sales VPs across various regions, senior leadership, and relevant departments liaising with suppliers. A comprehensive understanding of the commercial aircraft parts aftermarket, including availability, demand, and valuation, is crucial for success in this role. Hybrid or Remote work may be available for this role depending on location. Your role will take you to new heights, as you will be tasked with these essential job responsibilities: Provide in-depth market competitive analysis, technical support, and market pricing strategies to meet revenue and profitability goals. Assist the sales organization in selling all airframe material owned by the company. Fully engage in the review, valuation, and procurement of aircraft, surplus packages, and demand material. Take ownership of valuation and technical assessments for asset and material acquisitions. Liaise closely with the Director of Product Lines, Sales VPs, Senior Leadership, and relevant departments. Develop a thorough understanding of the commercial aircraft parts aftermarket, including availability, demand, and values. Evaluate entire assets for acquisition and strategize to maximize revenue and profitability. Manage disassembly processes, coordinate drop shipments, and select appropriate component repair stations to optimize cost and turnaround time. Ensure material is properly certified and readily available to support the sales team. Maintain a current pricing structure for managed material. Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Manage targeted revenues, particularly focusing on aged inventory to facilitate faster redeployment of investments. Assist the Director of Product Lines in valuing opportunities and providing relevant forecast data. Negotiate pricing and terms in alignment with the company's ROI/IRR. Develop a team of Strategic Buyers to review demand and inform investment strategy. Report on specific sales monthly and manage Product Line Representatives. Achieve the annual financial gross margin plan set by the company. Cultivate vendor and customer relations to increase purchasing and trading opportunities. Establish material plans and manage inventory levels to support customer/market requirements. Reduce overall company costs. Build a sustainable asset pipeline to meet long-term financial growth and sales projections. Meet inventory turn requirements established in project Proforma. Establish target pricing for all invested material to maximize gross profit. Support sales with price and availability of large package sales. Evaluate engine, airframe, and material packages according to established methods. Resolve trace issues with assets in inventory. Review and accept records provided by vendors prior to asset acquisition. Oversee sales and yields of material based on Proforma. Collaborate with leadership to establish annual financial plans. Identify upcoming projects and new end users to target as customers. Support sales in marketing lease assets to potential customers. Assist sales and operations in acquiring and supplying material, including technical requirements for assets in repair. Uphold company policies, procedures, and image. Identify opportunities to sell aging inventory and material for repair. Understand the current key customer base to support financial plans. Maintain and update market intelligence, including pricing and value of parts. Track market trends and monthly lease pricing of assets, assisting in depreciation and residual value calculations. Understand and communicate market trends on new and current platforms. Support project management activities, including teardowns, acquisitions, and technical acceptance. Attend conferences to aid in asset acquisition and package sales. Travel with sales members to support potential program and contract opportunities. Assist in aircraft teardown efforts when required. Perform other requested duties as assigned by management.
