Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physicist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 12/16/2024 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel T4H Job ID (EXT)- 800845 Shift Notes- 4x10 Days BLS Required Unit- Medical Physicist Unit Type- Radiology Job Profile Summary: Ensures the safe and effective delivery of radiation to achieve a diagnostic or therapeutic result as prescribed in patient care plan. Additional Job Description: Board certified or board eligible as a Therapeutic Radiologic Physicist by The American Board of Radiology (ABR) or by The American Board for Medical Physics (ABMP). On Staff: There are three physicists, one is the chief and RSO. 4 dosimetrist, 1 is as needed. 2 oncologists. 10 therapists and 3 nurses. Equipment: Two 4.1 true beam, with 6dof couch, both held at srs and SABR tolerance. Only one linac has Rt vision, and used for DIBH. Each linac has an average of 30patients. Annual patient load for both is about 800 pts a year. Gamma med HDR, and only perform GYM procedures. A discovery CT with deviceless 4D.
