Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $1,746 per week

Certification Details BLS required Active nursing license in good standing with compact if indicated Job Details This RN position at Frankfort Regional Medical Center, operating under HCA Healthcare (Parent), is in the 4th Floor Med/Surg unit caring for medical and surgical patients. Job Requirements Applicants must have telemetry experience and post-Percutaneous Coronary Intervention experience. Advanced skills such as experience with chest tubes, NG tubes, wound vac, drains, post-dialysis assessment skills, central lines, and blood transfusions are preferred. Schedule Information The schedule requires every other weekend and three 12-hour shifts per week. Floating may be required to 3 South (post-surgical med/surg), or to PCU (to staff tele overflow). Unit Specific Information The 4th Floor Med/Surg unit has 46 beds with a patient ratio of 6:1. Equipment used includes GE Apex Pro Telemetry box, Hoyer lift, Sara Steady, Baxter IV pumps, iMobile, Alaris PCA IV pump, and more. The unit employs Clinical Nurse Coordinators, RNs, LPNs, PCTs, Nurse Externs, and Unit Clerks. Additional Details Navy blue or Gray scrubs are required. No royal blue scrubs, as they are reserved exclusively for OB/LD department staff.
