Our work depends on a Software Engineer joining our team to provide engineering, architectural, full lifecycle, integration, sustainment and documentation support for Linux, Splunk and cloud-based systems. REQUIRED SKILLS AND DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE: Demonstrated on-the-job experience in a Systems Engineering or Systems Architecture role. Demonstrated experience managing Linux hosts such as RHEL or CENTOS in an enterprise environment. Demonstrated experience with Puppet, Splunk, Jira, Confluence, and Jenkins. Demonstrated experience deploying worldwide enterprise solutions. Demonstrated experience installing, configuring and managing Linux operating systems. Demonstrated experience working with AWS-based solutions. Demonstrated experience configuring and troubleshooting network components. Demonstrated experience implementing operating systems enhancements. Demonstrated experience prototyping enterprise scale solutions. Demonstrated experience with writing scripts in Bash and Python. Demonstrated experience executing shell scripts. Demonstrated experience deploying applications. Demonstrated experience developing and supporting Java/Javascript, C/C++, MySQL, and SQL Server applications. Demonstrated experience with Nessus. Demonstrated experience using Agile methodologies. Demonstrated experience performing detailed analysis. DESIRED SKILLS AND DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE : Demonstrated experience with VMWare and RAID configurations. Demonstrated experience with cloud infrastructure and technologies. Demonstrated experience with Cloudwatch. Demonstrated experience using the Atlassian Suite of tools. Demonstrated experience with the Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP). Demonstrated experience using the command line to interact with LDAP repositories. Demonstrated experience with XML schemas. Demonstrated experience with the Sponsor's systems lifecycle. Certifications (any or all of the certifications listed): VMWare Certified Professional. AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner. Red Hat System Certified Administrator. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
