Tax Supervisor

Salary: $ 95,000.00 We have partnered with a Public Accounting firm in the Wakefield, MA area to provide them with a Tax Supervisor. Please review the below description and let us know if you are interested. Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Tax Supervisor: 1. BSBA in accounting 2. CPA credentials and/or other advanced degree preferred 3. 5 years of experience in public accounting 4. Working knowledge of accounting and auditing principles 5. Experience with QuickBooks, Microsoft Word and Excel, ProSystem fx Tax 6. No more than three jobs in the last ten years Responsibilities of the Tax Supervisor: The firm's clientele ranges from large publicly held corporations to closely held businesses in diverse industries. Responsibilities Include: Supervise tax engagements in accordance with firm and professional standards Plan and schedule tax engagements with clients and firm resources Work directly with clients to build and maintain relationships Perform detailed reviews of tax returns and tax work papers Perform tax research projects Communicate with clients and team members regarding project status, client opportunities and other matters Provide training, direction, and supervision to team Maintain technical expertise in various tax areas related to industry specialization Requirements for the Tax Supervisor: BSBA in accounting CPA credentials and/or other advanced degree preferred 5 years of experience in public accounting Ability to meet deadlines and work on multiple client projects Excellent written and verbal communication skills Organized and detail oriented Working knowledge of accounting and auditing principles Experience with QuickBooks, Microsoft Word and Excel, ProSystem fx Tax Other Key Requirements: Must be local and able to work on a hybrid schedule No sponsorships or visa holders.
