Infrastructure Engineer

What You Will Do Support transitioning a system that is tightly coupled to the underlying infrastructure Assist with architecture, design, development, integration, and support of build, integration & test, and deployment pipelines, optimizing for performance and scalability across on-premises cloud computing environments Leverage company and industry best practices and capabilities to improve scalability, consistency, infrastructure efficiency, reduce deployment time, and automate configuration management Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and DevOps teams to design and implement development and mission solutions Integrate security and compliance into the platform with services such as encryption and access management Provide operational support for the platform Administrative fluency with the following (or vendor equivalent): Red Hat Linux (v7, 8 preferred), Rancher Experience troubleshooting applications & infrastructure services on Linux based OS. Qualifications You Must Have: A U.S. government TS/SCI / CI Poly issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Experience with RedHat Linux Experience with Cloud based technologies, preferably Amazon Web Services (AWS)/ Commercial Cloud Services (C2S). Experience designing, implementing, and integrating platform infrastructure services using technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker. Experience with programming/scripting languages (E.g. Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, C++, C#, Go). Experience with troubleshooting applications & infrastructure services on Linux based Operating Systems.
