Your mission: Conduct systematic evaluations of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes, helping us improve and stay on track. Review and assess third-party agreements and business processes to ensure they align with our flight plan. Collaborate with senior staff to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring our operations soar without turbulence. Apply today and help us keep everything running at cruising altitude Compensation: Maximum - Based on experience Minimum - $58,026.92 What You'll Do: Assists with evaluations of contract compliance in relation to third-party entities that have contractual obligations to the Authority. Assists with process, risk and control evaluations of various functionalities of the Authority. Prepares audit workpapers in accordance with audit standards and departmental procedures. Learns to analyze fiscal data and operating procedures of routine complexity. Evaluates established and proposed control systems to ensure compliance with best practices, management policies, procedures, laws, and regulations. Consults with senior staff on process improvements which add value to the organization. A detailed job description will be provided during the recruitment screening process. What You Need: Education: Required: Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field Preferred: Master's degree in business, accounting, finance, or another related field Experience: Required: 6 months or more of professional experience or completion of an audit internship experience Preferred: 1 year of audit experience Licenses or Certifications: Required: Valid driver's license Preferred: Internal Audit Practitioner (IAP), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or relevant equivalent certification Typical Work Hours: Monday - Friday Some flexibility is available regarding the work schedule between the hours of 7am - 6pm, possible work-from-home Fridays. Work hours outside of traditional schedule may be required occasionally. Final schedule preference will be negotiated with manager during the hiring process.
