We are hiring an Audit Supervisor to join our Assurance team As an Audit Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the financial health and compliance of your clients while contributing to the growth and success of the firm. This position offers opportunities for professional growth and development within the firm's audit and assurance practice. Key Responsibilities: Engagement Management: Coordinate planning, fieldwork, and review with team and clients Assist with assigning staff responsibilities for specific engagement areas Assist in developing budgets and identifying resources Monitor and report on budget vs. actual, flagging potential overruns Communicate progress and issues to managers and partners Technical Expertise: Plan strategies and supervise fieldwork team throughout engagements Utilize research tools for routine and complex accounting issues Apply critical thinking to complex issues and form independent opinions Prepare financial statements and disclosures in compliance with regulations Review and assess internal controls Leadership: Lead assurance engagements from planning to reporting Train and supervise teams of up to three staff members Client Relations: Cultivate strong client relationships through effective communication Address client inquiries promptly and professionally Identify opportunities for additional services Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field; CPA preferred 5 years of public accounting experience, focusing on audit and assurance Strong knowledge of GAAS, SSARS, and US GAAP Proficiency in audit software, accounting software, and Microsoft Office Suite Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise projects Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work Excellent project and time management skills Benefits: At BGBC, we prioritize our people with a comprehensive benefits package.
