Landscape Architect RPC is working an exclusive position for our Charlotte, NC client as a Landscape Architect/Designer II where your expertise will significantly impact the landscape of land development. Your leadership will guide projects that define communities and environments. Our client's passion lies in shaping the world around us through innovative civil site design. As a Landscape Architect/Designer II, you’ll be at the forefront of transforming ideas into reality. Responsibilities: Research governing codes and ordinances relevant to project sites. Develop site designs for diverse urban and natural settings, including layout and grading for paved surfaces, planting areas, site furnishings, and fixtures. Coordinate with site civil engineers and natural resource scientists. Create plant designs to support site engineering projects. Edit project specifications and align them with project plans and details. Prepare graphics, plans, and construction documents using CAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and other software for projects, proposals, and marketing materials. Achieve design objectives and project milestones. Estimate costs with support from the client construction estimation team. Manage and track time and expenses. Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture from an accredited institution. 5 years of experience in land development, specializing in Placemaking & Hardscape. A portfolio showcasing excellent design skills and creativity. Proficiency in Civil 3D is preferred. A professional license is preferred. A strong work ethic and a client-first mindset.
