Position Summary: As a Material Coordinator/Scheduler, you will be responsible for ensuring that all materials and resources required for our projects are scheduled, coordinated, and delivered on time. You’ll manage inventory levels, collaborate with vendors, and work alongside project managers to keep projects on track. Your role will be crucial in eliminating roadblocks related to material delivery, optimizing project timelines, and supporting project teams in executing successful energy projects. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain project schedules in collaboration with project management and business unit leaders. Coordinate material orders, deliveries, and track inventory to ensure there is no shortage or delay in resources. Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials. Adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate changes or unexpected delays in material delivery. Ensure compliance with safety standards, performance targets, and customer satisfaction expectations. Monitor and track project milestones to ensure they align with material availability and project progress. Manage and troubleshoot scheduling conflicts and material supply issues, offering cost-effective and timely solutions. Provide forecasting and reporting on material availability and project timelines to support decision-making. Maintain accurate documentation of all material procurement, deliveries, and project schedules. Assist in improving processes to ensure better material management and project efficiency. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred. 2 years of experience in material coordination, scheduling, or similar roles in construction, energy, or manufacturing industries. Experience using scheduling and project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, SAP, MS Project). Knowledge of inventory management and procurement practices. Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to adapt to changing project needs and prioritize tasks accordingly. Experience in tracking project schedules and managing delivery timelines in the energy industry is a plus.
