VHS is looking for an OB/GYN Hospitalist for El Paso, TX Program Details 12 or 24-Hour Shifts: 24 Hospitalists to Provide GYN Coverage: Yes Hospitalists Required to Perform Circumcisions: No Hospitalists Needed for First Assist: Yes First Assist Available to the Hospitalists: Yes Hospitalists to Backup Midwives: No Hospitalists to Backup Family Practice: No Backup Available to the Hospitalists: Yes Hospital Details NICU Level: IV Total Hospital Deliveries (monthly avg.): 275 Estimated Deliveries for Hospitalists (monthly): 15 both privates and unassigned Estimated Patient Encounters for Hospitalists (not including deliveries) (monthly/daily): 160/5 MFM onsite: Consults available Residency Program & Type: NA In-house Anesthesia: Yes EMR: Cerner Other – candidates need to be ACLS certified.
