Applicants must: Have a proven track record of generating content across digital platforms and print, including websites, blogs, landing pages, social, Google Ads, sell sheets, brochures, and more. We are looking for a critical thinker with exceptional communication skills. Understand how to create and execute content strategies and hierarchies, be able to learn and write about many different industries, and excel at conducting research and interviewing people to create custom content. REPORTS TO: Content Strategy Manager Responsibilities Deliver compelling and impactful creative content. Be adept at creating and advancing established brand tone and messaging and evolving content strategies based on a strong understanding of the client’s target audiences. Translate client goals and brand strategies into clear, compelling content across audiences and channels. Create content for creative campaigns. Content execution to include: social media, digital ads, newsletters, press releases, landing pages, websites, print, and other mediums. Research and formulate ideas that support engaging and targeted content. Balances strong conceptual copy with marketing best practices to create highly effective content and campaigns. Interview internal and external stakeholders to capture stories and insights. Understand audiences and personas. Be able to shift content voice to align with client brand standards and style guides. Write, edit, and proof original and existing copy that is exciting, engaging, and drives results. Optimize content with SEO/keywords. Provide support to other members of the content team. Have a growth mindset. Stay current on digital content trends across channels and share with the team. This person must have a passion for understanding the today and tomorrow of the platforms, funnels, and segmentations as well as for creating the content itself. Be able to work on many different platforms. Our clients use many platforms, and this person must be comfortable going in and out of platforms such as Sprout Social to Mailchimp, Survey Monkey, Constant Contact, HubSpot, and more. Handle competing priorities, meet deadlines, and be organized. Work independently or as part of a team. Be able to self-manage, prioritize, and communicate progress when working on multiple projects. Requirements (Must Haves) Bachelor’s degree or higher At least 5-7 years of professional experience as a writer—including long and short-form; At least 2 years of professional experience that includes social media writing/management. Agency experience Ability to translate brand strategies into clear, compelling content across audiences and channels Strong writing skills: websites, blogs, landing pages, social, Google Ads, print, and more. Familiarity with digital platforms such as Sprout Social, HubSpot, Mailchimp, and Constant Contact. Has outlined, researched, drafted, and owned revisions for content like: Blogs Websites and Landing Pages Organic and Paid Social Posts/Graphic Copy Digital Ads Press Releases Newsletters Proven experience working on strategic initiatives around content (e.g., content strategies, content auditing, content generation, pitch deck support, audience research, editing/proofing) Proven experience creating advertising concepts and messaging that is on brand and drives brand recognition and conversion. Works closely with creative teams since we believe that content and design work hand in hand to create the best outcomes. Adept at creating creative briefs outlining the project's content strategy: always asking “Who is this for?” “What CTA is best, given our other campaigns?” “What about this piece drives value?” Excellent critical thinking/problem-solving skills; strong judgment and the ability to make decisions independently. A passion for language, a love of writing, and a demonstrated ability to create narratives; attention to writing detail, including flow, grammar and style Strong presentation skills. Familiarity in running reports in social media tools, email automation platforms, and Google Analytics DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE-TO-HAVES) Experience in Google Suite, Google Meet, Slack, Toggl, and Asana.
