Job Title: Benefits Administrator Location (city, state): Houston, TX Pay: $75K - $95K (Bonus Eligible) Job Description: The Benefits Administrator will oversee all aspects of employee benefits and total rewards programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and retirement plans for a workforce of 475 employees. This position requires an individual who can manage relationships with vendors and brokers, ensure compliance with regulations, and analyze benefits data for cost-saving opportunities. The role will also involve leading wellness initiatives and driving communication strategies to educate employees about their benefits. Key Responsibilities: Administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and retirement plans for 475 employees. Ensure compliance with benefits regulations such as ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, and COBRA. Manage relationships with benefits brokers, vendors, and third-party administrators. Lead the open enrollment process and organize wellness fairs and other benefits-related events. Develop and implement communication strategies to educate employees about benefits options. Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes related to employee benefits. Lead wellness committee initiatives to promote employee health and well-being. Analyze benefits data to identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure program effectiveness. Provide customer service to employees regarding benefits inquiries and issues. Collaborate with the People & Culture team to ensure a positive benefits experience for all employees. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 3-6 years of experience managing employee benefits programs, preferably in a multi-company environment. Strong knowledge of benefits regulations including ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, and COBRA. Experience with self-funded benefits programs is highly preferred. Proficiency in benefits administration software (UKG experience is a plus).
