What is the opportunity? Reporting to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing, your Sales Administrator expertise will be utilized for general administrative support for customers and sales (inside & outside) for both Vapor Power International and Precision Boilers. Enjoy respect and recognition for your contributions as we continue to improve manufacturing capability and capacity This is not a remote role and will work out of the Morristown, Tennessee location. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, other duties may be assigned. General office support which includes answering phones, distributing mail, and maintaining office supplies for all functional areas. Entering and managing in-house sales orders, maintaining S&OP File, managing record retention, and sending out customer acknowledgements. Run sales reports from INFOR for RSM’s and Leadership Team. Assist the Regional Sales Managers with Rep Management – setting up new reps, contract administration and website portal access. Maintain and update company CRM with new account or customer information to assist RSM’s. Provide customers with “As Built” links once orders have shipped. Act as back up for Parts/Service as needed. Work with engineering and production departments to communicate and provide deliverables to RSM’s and independent sales representatives. Support visitors with logistics – hotels, transportation, etc. Other duties as assigned. The above are considered essential duties and are illustrative of those job tasks, which are fundamental. Education and Experience: 2 years in an administrative role, preferably in a sales and manufacturing environment. Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Marketing or Business. Skills and Abilities: · Solid computer skills, including MS Office, with expertise in Excel, Word and PowerPoint. · Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written. · Self-starter, highly creative, organized, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task. · Candidate must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorships). Physical Demands: · Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. · Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. Work Environment: This position must perform tasks that involve mainly office exposure, sitting behind a desk performing tasks on a computer. Most of their time, the employee will spend time in the office with low to moderate exposure to noise, heat, and cold environment, other physical requirements include walking, bending, hand dexterity, speaking, seeing, and lifting/moving up to 15 pounds. Steel toe shoes, earplugs and safety glasses are always required while on the production floor.
