Job Description Come to work each day with an inclusive and collaborative Business technology team As an Sr. Business Intelligence Developer in AbbVie Business Technology Solutions (BTS), youll have opportunities to contribute to the digital transformation of a leading biopharma company, helping to create solutions that impact patients and their communities for the better. Design and deliver SAP centric analytic solutions and applications that enable and enhance AbbVies analytics capabilities. This role delivers the analytical business requirementswhile ensuring high quality solutions that meet current and anticipated business needs.Responsibilities include partnering with solution architects, business associates and solution life cycle management, working with technical teams both internal and external, effective issue management and effective communication with key stakeholders. This role will work on the implementation of reporting analytics solutions focused on managing data integrity, aggregating, reconciling, and integrating data from multiple data sources (SAP and Non-SAP) into a global consolidated SAP BW/4HANA reporting platform with industry best practices to enable informed decision-making capabilities. In this role, you'll be responsible for: Conceive, design, engineer, and implement SAP data warehouse software and technology solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; Demonstrate the ability to resolve key project hurdles and assumptions by effectively utilizing available information and technical expertise. Demonstrate high proficiency across a wide range of SAP BW and Native HANA technologies and platforms related to software design and development, programming languages, data integration, data warehousing, data analysis and visualization tools, data storage, network connectivity, and virtualization/cloud environments. Demonstrate knowledge of the pharmaceutical and healthcare business, and utilize this knowledge in the rapid advancement of agile, impactful, and cost-effective solutions Highly autonomous and productive in performing activities, requiring only minimal direction from or interaction with supervisor. Keeps key stakeholders informed through effective verbal and written communication. Matures and leverages relationships with affiliates, subsidiaries, vendors, and industry peers in accordance with Abbvie Values, Vendor Management Office, and Purchasing to further the mission, vision and goals of the organization. May mentor/supervise a team of one or more and guide and evaluate the performance of those individuals; is accountable for the effective performance of the team/individuals. Understand and adhere to corporate standards regarding applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies, including code of conduct, safety, GxP compliance, data security, and the software development lifecycle. This role will require 3 days in the Mettawa office.Candidates who are not local or within a commutable distance would be expected to relocate. Qualifications What makes you a strong candidate for this role: Required: Bachelor's Degree with 7 years experience; Master's Degree with 6 years experience; PhD with 2 years experience. Proven track record in developing complex end to end SAP HANA BW/BI enterprise solutions in global organizations. Hands-on experience in SAP HANA Data Modeling techniques and HANA Studio using Calculation View, Flow Graph, Table Function. Experience with data visualization in SAP Analytics Cloud Demonstrated understanding of core business processes in Finance, Supply Chain and Order to Cash areas. Excellent communication skills. Beneficial: General understanding and technical expertise of SAP SLT/SDI, enterprise-class ETL and middleware tools. Experience in Agile BI development. SAP HANA Certification is a plus. SAP Analytics Cloud planning or BPC experience is a plus.
