Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Obstetrics and Gynecology in Texas

A facility with an OBED is seeking an OB/GYN for locum tenens coverage. There is maternal level III. The facility is located outside of Houston, Texas. This position requires 7a-7a shifts and a minimum of five years of OB experience. Responsibilities include working in the OBED with unassigned patients, consulting on obstetric cases in the Emergency Department or hospital-owned clinics, coordinating transfers of critically ill obstetric patients, assisting in OB/GYN surgeries, and providing coverage for the obstetrical triage unit to evaluate patients with acute symptoms or signs of labor.
