The successful candidate will be a key resource in leading analytics to manage risk appetite for retail credit and the business, with a strong focus on capital and strategic planning. This role involves performing stress loss forecasting in line with regulatory frameworks, evaluating drivers of stress losses, and supporting recommendations for risk appetite limits. The VP will also be responsible for liaising with finance and business partners to assess forecasts and their implications for capital-based stress losses and risk-weighted assets. Building sustainable business capabilities to manage risk appetite limits and leading risk transformation analytics projects are also key aspects of the position. Applicants should have a minimum of 6 years' experience in financial services or management consulting, with a working knowledge of risk appetite frameworks and credit risk policy. An in-depth understanding of consumer bank products' P&Ls, key risk and return dynamics, and loss drivers is essential. The role requires a good grasp of capital and balance sheet management, as well as experience with analytical and data management tools. The ideal candidate will possess excellent quantitative and analytical skills, and the ability to perform risk/reward trade-off analysis. Leadership competencies such as the ability to drive change, senior executive interactions, and strong interpersonal skills are also necessary. A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline is required, with a Master's degree preferred.
