Certification Details BLS ARDMS - RVT, ARRT - RT(VS), or CCI - RVS required within six months of employment if performing peripheral vascular procedures ARDMS (RDMS), post-primary sonography certification such as Abdomen, Breast, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatric Sonography State of Indiana licensure as Radiologic Technologist Job Details Starke Hospital, IN Travel Ultrasonographer Start: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days, 7a-4p, call required Job Requirements Associate’s Degree or Certificate in Radiography American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Sonography R.T.(S)(ARRT) or registry eligible with successful completion of the registry within six months of employment required. Licensed by the State of Indiana as Radiologic Technologist required if holding R.T.(R)(ARRT) and performing radiography. May work under Radiology Student Permit for the first 6 months post graduation Schedule Information Days, 7a-4p, call required: A minimum of 2 weekends/month and 1-2 nights during the week Additional Details Ultrasound Technician responsibilities include but are not limited to: abdominal, pelvic (gynecological & obstetrical), and transvaginal sonograms. Proficient at scanning small parts (thyroid, breast & scrotom) along with ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis and aspirations.
