Certification Details WI RN License BLS ACLS Job Details Registered Nurse, Cardiac Progressive Care/Telemetry CTU/ Step Down RN - Aspirus Wausau Hospital - Wausau, WI. Auto Offer Unit Contract Length: 13 weeks Start Date: 12/16/24 Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 36 44 Bed Intermediate cardiac stepdown. Fast-paced, high patient turnover. Post op CABG/Valve, thoracotomy, Vascular, Arrhythmia, CHF, Post procedure cath, pacer, defib, ablations, Acute CP/MI, med/surg overflow i.e. detox, DKA, COPD exac, resp failure. Patient ratio typically 1:4 Job Requirements WI RN License BLS and ACLS certifications Must be able to pass EKG test 1st week of hire. 2 years IMC/PCU/Tele experience required MUST HAVE 1 YEAR STRONG CARDIAC EXPERIENCE (Cardiac SDU/Intermediate Cardiac/Cardiac ICU) Experience with Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Nitro Drips required At least ONE travel assignment must be completed 1 year recent EPIC charting experience required Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates: Able to manage independently and complete tasks timely Schedule Information Shift Requirements: 12 hours Day/NOCs variables 0700-1930, 1900-0730 Float Requirements: Float to all inpatient units as needed. On Call/Call Back Requirements: Able to take call if wanted Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Every other weekend.
