Our caseload mainly consists of general abdominal, small parts, and ob/gyn (mostly 1st trimester and 3rd trimester for biophysical and growth scans), with many procedures during the day. We also see many pediatric and neonate patients for exams like the appendix, intussusception, spines and cranials. Our overnight shift caseload widely varies from 4-12, majority of those being ER exams Ratio / Census: 4 rooms; 40-60 patients in a 24 hour period Unit Systems: Epic, Siemens, Pyxis and SBAR Floating: No Monday-Thursday Minimum Experience: 1 year; 1st Timers are accepted Patient Population: Neonates to Geriatrics Certifications Required: BLS General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: We are a mid-size general department with 24/7 coverage. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.
