Certification Details BLS Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or NCCT ND UAP (if required for position) Job Requirements Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Verification required Candidates must be proficient in Ortho/Neuro Must have 1 year of Ortho/Neuro OR experience Must be willing to float to cross train to other specialty cases if needed to be second scrub Must be willing to float to the floor as a 1:1 sitter and will get train that day Must be willing to work holidays- rotate with perm staff Schedule Information Rotating 8hr shifts 0645-1515; 0900-1730; 1500-2330; 0700-1930 (weekend only) Weeknight/Call Requirements: 1-2 times per week, 1515-0645 Weekend/Call Requirements: every 3-4 weekend Holiday/Call Requirements: must be willing to work holidays- rotate with perm staff On-call response time: 15 minutes, 8 hour reprieve shifts for post call, sleep room available Unit Specific Information of Suites: 12 ORs, 1 Endo Suite, 1 Cysto Suite Average of cases per day: 25-30 Common Cases:ortho neuro total joints(hips, knees, shoulders), sports medicine, arthroscopies, neuro-spinal fusions, cervical and lumbar cases, micro discs, cranis, and no awake large neuro cases Floating Requirements: MUST be willing to float to cross train to other specialty cases if needed to be second scrub. MUST be willing to float to the floor as a 1:1 sitter Additional Details Radius Rule: 50 miles Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions
