ECS is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to support business growth opportunities that span the US Federal market. This is a hybrid remote opportunity with occasional working sessions in our Fairfax, VA offices. Job Description: ECS is seeking a motivated Sr. Solutions Architect to join our recently formed Strategic Solutions division. If you are passionate about designing cutting-edge enterprise solutions that address the dynamic mission needs of the US Federal government, then ECS should be on your short list of companies to consider As a Sr. Solutions Architect, you will report directly to the Director of Solutions Architecture in Strategic Solutions. You will join a diverse team of Data, Cloud, Software, and Architecture professionals who work together to support business growth and solutions delivery across all ECS business units. Within this division, our Solutions Architecture team actively supports business development activities and complex capture of large contracts in partnership with capture leaders and executives. Our contributions have a significant impact on the growth of the ECS business, due to our priority of supporting the top strategic pipeline opportunities across Defense, Civilian, and Intelligence Community agencies. You will be empowered to lead the development of enterprise solutions throughout the opportunity lifecycle, from deal qualification through proposal submission and into knowledge transition following award. We will pair you with an experienced Capture Manager to collaborate on win, teaming, and solution strategy, with assistance from our Business Unit program teams and executive leaders who have developed close customer relationships. You will collaborate with other technologists and process SMEs to develop solution concepts, elicit feedback from both customers and other experts within the company, and iterate towards well-defined technical solutions that help ECS stand out from the pack. You don't necessarily need to have hands-on-keyboard experience at the command line, but we are seeking an experienced Sr. Solutions Architect who can translate customer requirements into a compelling solution vision, and then rally a team of supporting engineers and SMEs to achieve the right level of technical depth. To be successful in this role, you must be comfortable sketching technical concepts at the whiteboard in a room of both business and technical participants, and you must be confident in translating these concepts in solution strategy presentations to an executive leadership team and customers for their buy-in and support. You will be challenged to expand your understanding of emerging trends and technology in multiple technology domains. If you are self-motivated, thrive in a team environment, enjoy the challenge of taking on new requirements, bring innovative solutions to the table, and are a continual learner, then this is a great opportunity for you Salary Range: $200,000 - $250,000 (Commensurate with the experience) General Description of Benefits Required Skills: B.S. in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Management, or related 3 years' experience in a lead Solutions Architect role for US Federal bids and proposals Background in designing and/or implementing enterprise solutions for Federal agencies in the areas of Software, Cloud, Cybersecurity, Data/AI, and/or ITSM Demonstrated solution leadership experience in support of capturing strategic business opportunities with total contract values above $75M Ability to build partnerships, bridge gaps, and reach a common understanding between business-oriented stakeholders, technical leadership, and technical subject matter experts when collaborating on highly technical solutions to meet specific mission needs Continual assessment of commercial and open source technology trends, products, and services for their applicability and effectiveness in meeting customer needs Strong oral, written, and visual communication skills, including storyboarding, whiteboarding, and CONOPS/OV-1 development US Citizenship required. Must also be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, if necessary.
