This Individual Contributor position will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining technical systems and programs that enable our businesses to perform at the highest level.
The IT Programmer Analyst will work closely with Business Analysts, Senior Programmer Analysts, and Business Users to solve complex business problems.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in software development and programming. The IT Programmer Analyst should have a deep passion for implementing creative and efficient solutions using the latest technologies. This individual should have the drive to tackle a difficult problem and find the best solution leveraging strong research and collaboration skills.
The incumbent will also actively participate in all aspects of the SDLC process and recommend opportunities for improvement within IT processes.
This position will collaborate across the Global IT organization as needed.
The IT Programmer Analyst will be assigned scope in one of the following application scope areas: ERP, CRM, HR/FIN, IT, PLM, Production Support, RPA, TMS.
Others may be added as a need arises.

Essential Functions: This position reports to the Manager IT Business Applications and has no direct or indirect reports. This role requires up to 5% travel (internationally/domestically), including overnight stays. Flexible schedule however must be able to work in the office 1-2 days per week, initially this may be more often during the training period. This position will require the candidate to be a full stack developer and responsible for delivering complete technology solutions which may include database, business/logic layer code, and front-end UI. Collaborate with Business Analysts and Developers to produce technology solutions for prioritized business problems. Resolve user reported help desk tickets in a timely manner. Formulate program specifications and basic prototypes. Transform requirements and specifications into high functioning technology solutions. Integrate individual software solutions to higher level systems (ERP). Test code to ensure it produces the desired results and perform debugging when necessary. Identify maintenance needs and perform upgrades to systems for security and efficiency. Create detailed system documentation for internal use. Document identified issues as they surface. Collaborate with project team to resolve identified issues. Monitor and assist project team and end users in the execution of user acceptance testing. Provide on-going application technical support and participate in application training. Provide documentation, technical specifications and infrastructure requirements for each development Project.
Required Qualifications of Every Candidate (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities): Preferred Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years relevant experience or Associate’s Degree with 5+ years relevant experience or 7+ years of relevant experience. 3+ years of professional programming experience in Microsoft .NET technologies. 3+ years of accumulated professional experience in the following areas:
Web development technologies: JavaScript, JQuery, ASP.net, CSS, HTML, Razor, C# & VB.Net Database development experience; Oracle PL SQL/SQL Server Azure development experience (Logic & Function App development)
Strong understanding of object-oriented development methodology. Ability and desire to learn the manufacturing and business process supported by IT. Customer service mindset and strong interpersonal communication and training skillsets. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Project management and problem-solving skillset. Knowledge of .Net Web and Windows application architectures, Software design principles, Object Oriented Programming, Object Oriented Design, Prototype designing and UI designing. Unit Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing and Test Case Writing, Documentation, Application Trouble Shooting
and requirements analysis, estimation, and technical support experience. Must possess excellent analytical skills with a proven ability to identify, debug, and resolve complex software bugs. Highly Qualified Candidates Will Also Possess These Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or MIS. SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Jira development experience. Programming knowledge of third-party controls Telerik, Farpoint or similar controls. AngularJS, React, Mobile web and Mobile App development experience. Azure programming, SharePoint portal designing and maintenance experience. Azure cloud development including Azure Logic App, Functions App, DevOps and API Management experience. Angular development experience building responsive web applications utilizing Angular CLI and working with TypeScript and RxJS. Experience with IIS, Tableau server, Jira Servers. React, EDI programming experience. Experience with RPA (MS Power Automate) and Power Apps. Knowledge of ERP systems like IFS, QAD, SAGE. Experience working in an Agile environment.
