Job Duties
Lead and manage clinical operations across two practice sites, overseeing a patient panel of approximately 2,000 individuals.
Develop and implement strategic plans to improve patient care, expand clinical services, grow research portfolios, and enhance educational programs.
Foster a culture of excellence and collaboration among faculty, fellows, and staff.
Mentor and support faculty development, recruitment, and retention efforts.
Oversee the training and education of residents, fellows, and medical students within the section.
Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including affiliated hospitals and healthcare organizations.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements, maintaining the highest standards of clinical care.
Minimum Qualifications
Board Certified, M.D. or equivalent medical degree.
Eligibility for medical licensure in Texas.
Proven experience in leadership within an academic medical center, with a demonstrated record of achievement in clinical care, research, and education.
A track record of fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and promoting a culture of innovation.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
