Job Summary
They are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Vice President / Principal to join our growth equity team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities, specifically in Series B to D rounds within the enterprise software sector. This role will play a critical part in identifying high-growth potential companies and driving their investment strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Deal Sourcing and Evaluation: Identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities in Series B to D enterprise software companies.
Market Research: Conduct thorough market analysis to understand trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies within the enterprise software space.
Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with entrepreneurs, industry executives, and other key stakeholders.
Due Diligence: Lead and coordinate due diligence processes, including financial analysis, market assessment, and risk evaluation.
Investment Thesis Development: Develop and articulate investment theses for potential opportunities.
Portfolio Management: Support and guide portfolio companies post-investment, driving value creation and strategic growth initiatives.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with senior leadership and other team members to develop and execute investment strategies.
Qualifications
Experience: 7+ years of experience in growth equity, venture capital, private equity, or related fields, with a strong focus on enterprise software investments.
Sourcing Expertise: Proven track record of sourcing and closing Series B to D investments in the enterprise software sector.
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and financial modeling skills.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely.
Networking: Strong network within the enterprise software industry and the broader investment community.
Leadership: Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in managing and mentoring junior team members.
