Position Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Systems Analyst to support our IT and operational needs. This role, reporting into our VP of Finance, combines project management with technical expertise in systems integration, ensuring seamless connectivity and functionality between our business systems and platforms - including Netsuite, marketing systems, Celigo, Shopify and others. The ideal candidate will have experience working closely and proactively managing third-party resources, our 3PL IT team, and internal stakeholders to ensure our business systems operate smoothly and efficiently while overseeing and coordinating projects across these platforms.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a thought leader and “dot connector” with third parties to both maximize efficiency of current systems while also supporting new growth ideas.
- Lead and manage integration projects across NetSuite, Celigo, Shopify, and other related platforms, from initial planning through to execution and post-launch support.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and milestones to track progress and ensure timely completion. Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders to define project scope and refine requirements.
- Partner with our third-party Netsuite resources, 3PL IT team, internal partners and other resources as appropriate to implement selected projects from start to finish, including requirements gathering, functional and technical solution design, business process design and workflow, testing and user acceptance, and organizational change management and communication.
- Manage the integration of new and existing systems, troubleshooting issues with external resources and ensuring solutions are robust and sustainable.
- Collaborate to understand system limitations, pain points, and areas for improvement.
- Develop, with help and expertise of outside development partners, and implement best practices and standard operating procedures for system operation and management.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation plans to resolve implementation issues to partners’ satisfaction.
- Support the prioritization of system improvements.
- Keep all partners informed on project execution and desired outcomes.
- Assist with data extraction, reporting, and analysis across systems to support decision-making.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation on integration architecture, workflows, and configurations.
- Train and support end-users on system functionality, ensuring they understand how to leverage tools effectively
- Research best practices, new technologies and new processes to identify opportunities for systems enhancements and improvements.
- Provide general IT support. Act as the internal point of contact for basic IT needs, coordinating with external support as needed, and ensuring smooth operation of workstations, software licenses, and system access.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with exposure to ERP, CRM, and/or IT systems management.
- Experience with NetSuite or a similar ERP system; NetSuite certification is a plus. Celigo experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of CRM and e-commerce systems, with a preference for experience in direct-to-consumer businesses.
- Deep understanding of integration concepts, data mapping, and workflows between platforms.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and cross-functional collaboration and the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high attention to detail.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Preferred: PMP, Scrum, or other project management certifications are a plus
