We are currently looking for a Director of Amazon Marketplace Growth for a great opportunity in Port St. Lucie, FL. This position is 100% onsite in Port St. Lucie, FL and will consider candidates willing to relocate to Port St. Lucie, FL.

We are seeking an experienced Director of Amazon Marketplace Growth to lead the Amazon business. This role reports to the Co-Founder and President. The ideal candidate has a robust background in Amazon platform management and proven experience driving growth in the Amazon sales channel for an omnichannel brand. In partnership with the Director of Ecommerce, the Director of Amazon Growth will be pivotal in shaping the ecommerce channel strategy and be responsible for driving the strategy and execution of the Amazon business. This seasoned ecommerce leader will create and implement the Amazon Marketplace strategy and ensure operational excellence across the channel. You will develop a strategic plan to drive profitable revenue growth and scale the paid marketing activities.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Amazon Operations:

  1. Define and implement the company's strategic vision for Amazon and execute a strategy that aligns with overall company goals to deliver business growth across the channel.
  2. Oversee day-to-day operations of the Amazon sales channel, ensuring smooth execution of marketing, sales, and logistics activities.
  3. Improve operations of our Amazon business to ensure efficiency and an exceptional customer experience.
  4. Develop and implement a strategic plan to drive revenue growth on Amazon by optimizing pricing, expanding offerings, and executing other digital marketing initiatives.
  5. Develop and manage the Profit & Loss (P&L) for the channel, ensuring cost-effective strategies and meeting financial targets.
  6. Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer insights to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  7. Optimize product listings, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns to maximize visibility and sales on the Amazon platform.

Function Management:

  1. Lead, mentor, and develop a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  2. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, logistics, and customer service, to ensure alignment and efficiency in Amazon operations.

Goals & Processes:

  1. Develop and implement processes and best practices to streamline Amazon operations and enhance efficiency.
  2. Establish clear performance metrics and KPIs to track progress and measure success of the Amazon business.
  3. Regularly review and adjust strategies and processes to align with changing market conditions and business goals.
  4. Lead regular business reviews and report on Amazon channel performance to senior leadership, highlighting key insights and recommendations.

Functional Alignment:

  1. Collaborate with the President, VP, CMO, Director of eCommerce, and other senior leaders to align Amazon strategy with overall eCommerce and company objectives.
  2. Ensure seamless integration and alignment of Amazon activities with broader retail and eCommerce strategies.
  3. Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within the organization and with Amazon representatives to facilitate collaboration and drive results.

Qualifications:

  1. BA/BS in Business, Marketing or related field (MBA preferred).
  2. 7+ years of experience in a senior leadership role managing Amazon sales channel with $10m+ revenue a must.
  3. At least 4 years of Management experience is required.
  4. Strong credibility as a leader.
  5. Proven track record of driving growth and profitability.
  6. Strong expertise in Amazon platform management, including marketing, sales, and logistics.
  7. Proficiency in eCommerce and data analytics tools and platforms (preferred).
  8. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across departments and with external partners.
  9. Deeply curious about the customer to help inform decision making.
  10. Action-oriented with a high tendency testing and learning.
