We are seeking a highly motivated Program Director for our Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program. The Program Director must have a current, valid licensure as a registered nurse in Michigan. There is strong potential to convert to a full-time role based on performance. The Program Director will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the program, ensuring that it is meeting its educational goals, and that students are receiving the highest quality education.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the curriculum for the LPN/LVN program
Manage program enrollment, including recruitment and admissions, orientation, and registration
Oversee student progress and performance, including grading, academic advising, and program completion
Recruit, train, and supervise program faculty and staff
Foster a positive and supportive learning environment for students
Develop and manage program budgets and resources
Conduct program evaluation and assessment, and make data-driven recommendations for program improvement.
Qualifications:
Current, valid licensure as a registered nurse in Michigan
Experience in nursing practice, education and administration
Graduate degree with a major in nursing
Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management or related field, preferably in a healthcare or education setting
Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, students, and external partners.
Experience with accreditation and regulatory compliance
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
