We partner with teams across the company to create, scale, and deliver outstanding marketing that brings the magic of Apple to every touchpoint in the customer experience. Description As a Senior Art Director on Marcom’s Interactive team, you'll bring the story of our groundbreaking products, software, services, events, and values to life on apple.com and partner digital channels. You will brainstorm, ideate, and deliver under the guidance of an Associate Creative Director and in collaboration with other creative and technical disciplines. You’ll oversee medium to large-sized projects and present the work to Creative Directors and cross-functional partners. You will follow the work from concept through production and delivery, ensuring it adheres to Apple standards of quality. You will help inspire the team while also being directly involved with the process. Responsibilities Include: Executing high-quality design work on assigned projects. Regularly presenting work to leadership, soliciting and implementing creative and strategic feedback. Designing and maintaining marketing deliverables across Apple.com and iOS/HTML global platforms in Apple Retail Stores and Channel partner stores, to align with project goals, creative direction, and templates. Troubleshooting new ideas or executions as needed, enhancing existing experiences and optimizing content for new product initiatives, working within process to define technical specifications. Leading designers in day-to-day design tasks, working with producers to meet deadlines, and partnering with writers, designers, and developers. Leading presentations of the work internally to explain progress and ideas. Agency oversight of design output, suggesting process and template improvements. Minimum Qualifications: At least 10 years of experience in the interactive/digital marketing communications industry. A portfolio that showcases strategic insight and visual design talent for a range of digital experiences including web, mobile, and/or apps. Preferred Qualifications: Excellent design and conceptual skills accompanied by the ability to guide, evaluate, and redirect creative development when necessary. Skilled with design software, including Adobe Creative Suite and Sketch. Experience with motion and 3D software is a plus. Extensive knowledge of web production and basic front-end engineering skills. Strong communicator with exceptional presentation and diplomatic skills. Able to actively engage in healthy debate with stakeholders. Track record of thriving in a challenging, fast-paced, creative workplace while delivering quality work at scale and on time. Experience building trust with multi-disciplinary partners and collaborating well within a team environment. Has provided thoughtful guidance to junior creative staff, with an eye on mentorship and development. Diligent, flexible, resourceful, and independent with a strong work ethic and organizational skills. Willing to take risks, fail, and learn from mistakes. Strong understanding of data science and customer journey insights. BA or BFA in Graphic Design (or equivalent). Additional Requirements: At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $179,000 and $269,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
