Summary

We are seeking a talented and motivated Marketing Coordinator to join our team and contribute to our brand marketing activities and GTM campaigns. As Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the marketing department in the planning, execution, and reporting of various marketing initiatives, along with administrative and social media duties. You will work closely with the senior marketing team along with other internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure successful marketing operations and initiatives.

Core Responsibilities

Monitor and track marketing metrics, prepare weekly reports, and provide recommendations for optimization.

Participate in management of self-service advertising operations and reporting of performance marketing campaigns.

Assist in e-commerce operations, fulfillment, and reporting.

Conduct ongoing social media monitoring and reporting.

Conduct special market research projects.

Assist in the coordination and organization of our ongoing and campaign-based marketing projects.

Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to create, proofread, and edit various marketing materials to ensure consistent branding and messaging across all marketing channels.

Assist in creating and producing various reports and communication for partners and stakeholders.

Traffic invoices and contracts.

Stay informed about industry developments, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve marketing initiatives.

Perform other marketing tasks as needed.

Core Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing or related field.

1-2 years of experience in a marketing role.

Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).

Excellent analytical skills.

Strong writing and communication skills.

Strong prioritization, organization, and project management skills.

Meticulous attention to detail.

A self-starter that independently moves projects forward, prioritizes tasks, and meets deadlines.

Experience with managing social media platforms.

Comfortable multi-tasking in a deadline-driven environment.

Proficiency with office platforms (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Slack).

Familiarity with project management software and platforms (JIRA, Confluence, ClickUp, Monday or similar).

A passion for the types of entertainment Absurd Ventures is creating: audio fiction, comic books and graphic novels, video games, film/TV, and more.

Plus if...

Experience with self-service advertising and performance marketing (e.g., Google Ads, Meta).

Strength in copywriting and experience with newsletter campaigns.

Experience in the entertainment or video games industry.

The base pay for this position is $65,000 per year. Actual compensation is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We also offer a competitive package of benefits including paid time off, sick time, company holidays, parental leave, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
