About Capital Hilton: The beautiful Capital Hilton, a monumental hotel in the heart of Washington, D.C., is looking for our next talented Catering and Events Manager. This historic hotel offers 30,000 sq ft of event space, perfect for hosting events of all sizes. Located in the nation's capital, this role offers a unique opportunity for an organized, detail-oriented individual to further their hospitality career. Ideal Candidate: Experience: Experience in catering and event management. Skills: Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage guest requests and team member coordination. Qualifications: Proven ability to solicit, secure, and respond to customer inquiries regarding food and beverage services and event facilities. Shift Pattern:
Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Pay Rate:

What will I be doing? As a Catering and Events Manager at Capital Hilton, you will be responsible for soliciting, securing, and responding to customer inquiries regarding the purchase of food and beverage and the use of event facilities. Your key responsibilities will include: Soliciting, securing, and responding to customer inquiries regarding food and beverage, event facility rentals, and ancillary services. Hosting and entertaining clients, conducting property tours, promoting hotel facilities and services, and drafting contracts. Communicating with and providing direction and supervision to team members for the execution of catering events. Responding to special guest requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
